The universe was born in a sea of darkness and chaos. This primal force called itself Legel, and embodied both creation and destruction. Legel's ever churning forces gave birth to a myriad of worlds and creatures both great and small. Many creations were quickly snuffed out by the very force that made them, but there were areas of temporary calm. It was in one such peaceful location that the Goddess Teva and the world of Isya were born.
Fiesta is a free to play 3D MMORPG made my Onson soft and published by Outspark. It features four different jobs that you can choose from to become in the beginning in the game.
Fiesta is spanish and means Party.
Life is but a Fiesta*
For me, Fiesta seems to be a kinda cozy game. I don't know why exactly why I get the feeling of Fiesta being Cozy, but that is the first thought I get when I think of Fiesta. You start off in a small town besides the sea named Roumen. It kinda looks like an old village, nice and quite. You can even sometimes hear the seagulls. It kinda reminds me of my hometown thanks to that, so thats maybe why I think Fiesta is a somewhat cozy game. Now, when you begin the game you get to choose four different jobs. Fighter, Cleric, Archer and Mage. All of them have a special kind of look. This can have a plus side and a minus side, because the only thing you'll be able to decide on your characters is their hairstyle and haircolour. I'm a person who really likes to make my character as personal as possible, so this is one of the things I don't really like with Fiesta. But I guess you can't have everything you beg for~ After choosing you're character you'll get help through the game by a couple of NPC, they will tell you what to do and what to get or kill. You should go through the whole thing completely, you'll get good stuff from it and you'll learn how to control thing a lot better~ One of the things you'll get from the quest you get from NPC's is a skill scroll. It's a "choose your reward"-quest, so don't take the wrong scroll. However, I doubt that you will. When you get really into the game you'll float through it like a river. However, it will sometimes comes moments when you bump into a rock, but you'll get through it when you struggle a little.
I can't really say that it's hard to level in this game, but I can't say it easy to level either, it's rather "balanced" in the early levels. But, I have to say that it kinda becomes harder to level after a while, but it not like "grandtastic" leveling, more like that you'll have to count on spending a little bit of time out in the field killing monsters after finishing your quests. But while I'm trying to get into a higher level while killing monsters out in the fields, I'm actually having fun.
The world of Fiesta is kinda big, you'll have to take a special kind of portals to get to some places. This is good, but can be a pain sometimes. You have to stock up with a good amount of potions when going out side of the town, or else you'll have to run back ALL the way from the beach, to town. You also have to check that you take the right portal so that you don't go into an area you've never been to before. So you'll have to be prepare when going out of town and take several quests at the same time so you don't have to go back and forward all the time.
The gameplay is nice, you won't get bored easly from it and you'll enjoy playing it~
But I have to say, Fiesta is a "taste" game. Some might enjoy it and some won't.
I hope however that you'll have fun playing it~
Jag vill bo i en svamp. Annars får jag kramp! SVAMP!
(I dare you to guess what song. If you can't guess, I'll tell you later on. :3)
I've never really been into 3D games, I've always liked 2D game more. But, that dosen't mean that whenever I see a 3D game(Which is VERY common today.) I'll dismiss it as a bad game, I'll just be a little bit more careful.
About Fiesta's Graphics:
I can't say that Fiesta has "OMGWTFBBQ" grapics, but Fiesta do have pretty good grapics. Just take a look at the loginscreen. You'll see a an adorable pink kitty looking at you, who after that jumps away to chase a small ball. But it will run away because a big dragon will land and start to spit some fire. It moves smoothly and have good colours. Cute and beautiful at the same time~ The animation of everything is good. To be honest, when it comes to judging grapics and such on games, I'm not very good. But if I would give Fiesta a number from one(worst) to ten(best). I would give Fiesta 6 or 7/10. It's good enough to make me satisfied.
The stars tonight are so beautiful~
I love the music in Fiesta, specilly the music that plays when you're going to choose you're character. Du du duuu du~ Du du duuu du~ Sound like something that you play on a ball. I'm impressed of the music I've heard so far, I think the music in Forest of Tides is my absolute favorite. If you ever get to play Fiesta, take your time and listen to the background music.
A small minus though... Fiesta is a game you'll play in window mode, it good because I can do other things while resting in the game. However, when I "put away" fiesta, do something just quick and go back, the music will disappear for a moment. It's just like pushing the stop button while playing some music and you have to go back and listen to the beginning of the song again. However, it maybe will take a while for the music to come back again in Fiesta. It's just like it's playing thorugh the whole song while having no music volume. The music will start again after a while, but it's still kinda annoying that you'll go without music for a while.
But I guess it's worth the wait~
Feels like dancing~!
Now, What to I have to say about the community? When I'm in town, It's actually rather quiet. Not many people talk. It not so quiet that it'll just be nothing, you'll mostly see "shouts" and people talking to their friend in the chat. But the "talking to their friends" part have I not seen so much from. In most mmogs the towns are rather chatty, but Roumen the town you start in and the main town, Is actually rather quiet. And If someone wants you to ask you something, It'll probably become a Whisper, even though you're near them. But I noticed a kinda funny thing with some of the people in Fiesta. I just randomly made a salute emotion in the middle of the forest and suddenly I had about 4 people beside me, one of them also doing a salute emotion. It made me giggle when I saw this. And from what I've seen so far, I'd say that the community is rather nice. They are just a bit quiet. But, you'll definitive hear someone talk.
I doubt that all people are nice and quiet. Every MMO have at least one jerk. But, I haven't met so many people that I've had trouble dealing with. So I'd say that the community is rather good~
But, I've experienced that you'll pretty much get random Friend requests here and there... But maybe you'll get to meet many good people that way~?
I see lots of people...
I can't say that Fiesta is the greatest game I've ever played, but I can say that Fiesta is a pretty good game and that it is worth a shot. If you choose the class you like and go from there, there is a chance that you'll actually like the game. As I said before, you'll either like the game or you won't like it. It's up to you. For me it's pretty much like this: I play it for awhile, then quit and then after that, pick it up again to enjoy the whole game again.
I forgot to mention that there is a forum for Fiesta on Outsparks site. If you ever get stuck, ask the people on the forum. I'm sure they'll help you~So, if you ever have sometime over, try Fiesta. You'll maybe like it~ Give it a try~
I salute thee
