One of the worst MMO hosting companies ever to exist. Stay away from Aeria Games at all cost.:P

I noticed they've had a lot of job postings open recently...

Aeria, oh Aeria!

Yea it's a interesting publisher :-/
They hit you with a cold one, and right after with a hot one, trying to repair their own mistakes, example? Sure!
A couple of weeks ago after they've implemented the Vintor instance in La Tale, they bugged many items like XP potions, inventory bags, tickets, including the crystal mine which is very important in finding ores to upgrade other items ._.; anyway, rather that repairing it asap, they've made a 300% exp and drop rate event *sigh*

Agree with Kowiz.

They just registers and spams the "spread the word" etc, and referrals '-'

Also, they should, really...really work on their "invitation events" etc, etc..like those who are selected for closed/open beta thingy stuff.

I got 2...like 3 of the emails saying that "Selected for closed beta!" for GrandFantasia online. Ah, alright, logins...downloads the client and found out that my user account can't be used for the closed beta.

hmm...why sending those emails saying I'm invited if I can't even login? Try to be bit honest please.

-reputation, - trustworthy.

I really dislike how they have the "Spread the word" events, which pretty much consists of spamming other forums.

Also, their maintenance is really quick usually.
Unlike OGP which takes FOREVER to finish a maintenance.
I don't really like their support much though.
They never replied to my 1:1 or e-mails about an event I won once. Was supposed to get a bunch of good prizes >_>

It seems quite a few people don't like Aeria Games.
Don't really see why though.

You can also get free cash really easily.

Just play that facebook poker game they have, and you can trade in chips you win for $10 or $20 worth of AP.
It's not hard to get chips at all either.
You can simply invite your facebook 'friends' to play it with you, and you can get 5,000 chips by just inviting them.
So if you invite four, that's $20 AP right there.

I disagree with SOC - Aeria's version of LaTale started out with a massive amount of content, unlike the OGP version which had roughly a fourth of that in OB. Aeria is unable to produce further content themselves; Actoz has to give the OK first. A recent interview with the product manager has revealed that Mecha Empire and Toad Island will be released in December.. The Aeria version will then have caught up with the OGP version. Also, about events: Events that don't require purchases are actually more common than on OGP. Heck, they even offer plenty of opportunities to get AP and actually -decent- cash shop items (unlike OGP's Snow Raccoon Tickets..) for free.
GMs are generally friendly, helpful and social, though they seemed more than a bit unorganized and unprofessional in the beginning. Recently they seem to be taking LaTale and their userbase more seriously.
Overall, I like how Aeria Games handles LaTale. The game is certainly in better hands with them than with OGP.

From a La Tale player, Aeria seems to focus only on cash-shop related events. La Tale is still brand new, and they're only releasing cash-shop stuff to fill their pockets fast. This I don't agree with, and this is why I give it a bad grade.
