The gameplay itself is very easy-to-understand. There are quests that tell you how to do stuff step by step. There are lots of creative, useful features in this game, like equipment fusing, refining, compounding, tempering...etc. The drilling system is also an innovative function as well (although I personally dislike those features designed for persistent people...)
The PvP system in this game is awesome, except that sometimes you will meet bullies or low level killers here. (There is not that many of them, though.) Usually you can have a lot of fun fighting your friends or other people. I personally really want to encourage more people to hang out at PvP more. It is a good way to show off what new skills, new equipments you got - not a dangerous and boring place.
The game is usually updated bi-weekly, with new events, MyShop items updated in each patch. Occasionally there will be brand new features added to the game - the Enlightenment system, the Harkon protector system, and recently the wedding system. Sometimes the update will give away free items (even MyShop items) to everyone; sometimes the update might not be so appealing since they only add new MyShop items, which apparently is useless for those non-spending players.
You can find several nice guilds and training buddies in this game, if you are willing to reach out. They can really help you out on getting quest items, help you to get levels...etc. If you are in a nice guild, you can participate in some GvG or in-guild events.
The Party System is very customized, considerate and creative. With different combinations of party members( ex: all males, all females...etc) you can get different party bonuses which are very useful in terms of getting exp. The Party Bullitin Board is an awesome, easy way to find training buddies - you can find "who's training in the map" in seconds.
The overall economic/market is quite fine. It is true that many stuff are expensive and hard to afford, but it is also true that you can make some really easy money in this game. For example, by reaching level 40, the player receive a special Box which usually sells for more than 2.5 million. (This $ is more than enough to buy on-level equipments, potions, and even quest items.) Of course, that is not the only stuff you will get!
In conclusion, this game will be the BEST if you are planning to spend money on this game consistently, and have plenty of time to play. It is also a good choice for non-MyShop buyers, for there's plenty of nice in-game features that does not require spending money. You might have saw or heard some negative receptions about this game here, but you wouldn't know before you actually try it. Join the Trickster community! |

The problem with Trickster is that even though it has the potential to be a REALLY good game Ntreev has done a horrible job as a publisher. Ntreev's Myshop totally destroys any and all balance in the Market, and PvP. Ntreev has NEVER updated Trickster's Gameguard, and the community has had to find their own fixes. Part of the community is really awesome and fun, the game used to be a lot more fun with the camps and everything. Now, no one cares about the camps, and people don't like talking much. One of the most noticeable problems though is how Ntreev totally ignores any non-myshop related problems in the game... and rarely responds with their support system.
All the problems in Trickster Online stream directly from Ntreev. |

uh, @ Graffitix, NTreev got Trickster Online at 2006, I think or am I mistaken? Or we're u playing kTo,jTo,etc ? o.o
anyways, community in Fantasia is dead. GMs ignores all bugs, glitches, etc. they only put attention to the plays that has myshop issues. They play favoritism. Like Caiterz. Lol. |
