Wakfu, the hit game from developer Ankama, has a bit of exciting news to share with you all. The MMORPG, which is currently in open beta testing, will be released in a month, on February 29th, 2012. Nearly 8 years after the release of Ankama's hit game Dofus, they're launching a second MMO game in the same universe.

Wakfu retains a number of features similar to Dofus, the gameplay is instead governed by player responsibility in this game. Additionally, there are some political and environmental elements within the realm of Wakfu. In addition to the release announcement, Ankama is also please to say that they have released the second video in the "Dev Diary" series.
