The launch of Guild Wars 2 was a rousing success, and NCSoft and ArenaNet want to tell you all about it! NCSoft, publisher and developer of many popular MMOs, and ArenaNet, the development team behind the Guild Wars franchise, have definitely had a stellar week.

Why, you might ask? Simply because, their highly anticipated MMORPG Guild Wars 2 had an outstanding launch. Even before the official launch, more than one million people had pre-paid for the game in order to enjoy a three-day headstart. The president and co-founder of ArenaNet had this to say: "This is the culmination of a five-year journey and to be greeted by this level of enthusiasm by our fans is truly amazing."
