Outspark announced that its side-scrolling MMORPG Wind Slayer will discontinue service on August 10, 2011. Outspark currently has no plans for character migration but noted that they are storing character information should another publisher pick up a license for Wind Slayer in affected regions.

Redemption codes for compensation will be e-mailed by August 3rd with April purchases receiving 20% credit, May receiving 30%, and June-July receiving 50%.

So long, Wind Slayer. We shall retire you to the list of ggFTW discontinued games.
