A brand new update for The Lord of the Rings Online has just been announced by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and Turbine. The update, which is titled "Riders of Rohan", is set to launch in Fall 2012 with such new features as an increased level cap, new maps, a new mounted combat system, and more.

The executive producer of Lord of the Rings Online stated that 2011 was a great year for Lord of the Rings Online, as the game had consistent growth, a successful unification of the European and North American services, and the successful launch of "Rise of Isengard", the best selling expansion for the game to date. They are excited for the coming year as they celebrate their fifth anniversary and prepare to launch Riders of Rohan.
