EVE Online players have been earning Aurum (an EVE Online virtual currency) left and right. As the result of sharing player generated content on EVEisReal.net, gamers have unlocked a total of about 3.6 million dollars worth of Aurum.

Players have unlocked the first two tiers, with two more tiers to go. This second tier unlock has put 1,000 Aurum into the pockets of every active EVE Online player.
