Four years have passed since the aftermath of Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos, and a great tension now smolders throughout the ravaged world of Azeroth. As the battle-worn races begin to rebuild their shattered kingdoms, new threats, both ancient and ominous, arise to plague the world once again.
World of Warcraft is an online role-playing experience set in the award-winning Warcraft universe. Players assume the roles of Warcraft heroes as they explore, adventure, and quest across a vast world. World of Warcraft is a "Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game" which allows thousands of players to interact within the same world. Whether adventuring together or fighting against each other in epic battles, players will form friendships, forge alliances, and compete with enemies for power and glory.

It's pretty generic. Granted, it was the "first", thus why it's generic.. but as a new player, it needs some changes to capture today's audience. |

If you don't appreciate working hard for gear, joining a guild and working with a real team of people with actual strategies, theorycrafting new tactics, simcrafting to be able to perform at peak performance, and doing real research on your class, not for you mang. |

One of the most overrated MMORPGs ever. Seriously, I'm not kidding. Just see for yourself.:P |

Troll druid sucked me back in. Running around as a white saber with purple hair is just too good man. Game is just as awesome as when I left, glad to be back. I also heard they nerfed Heroics a lot - not enough to make them faceroll, but enough that you don't feel like you're queing away the next two hours of your life for well, just a dungeon. |

When you don't factor in the community: World of Warcraft is the best MMORPG. (As of Wrath of the Lich King. Pre-BC and The Burning Crusade sucked. But I suppose you can't fault Blizzard too much for it, this is their first MMORPG, and they DID learn from their mistakes.) If you factor in the community: This is the worst MMORPG. |
