Although both civilizations, Roma in the west and China in the east, had an inkling of each other, the direct contact did not occur due to hardship natural environment between them. However, intermittence contact had been made via small countries located in the middle.
In 2 B.C., Janggeon who was ordered from Wu Di (Muje), emperor of Han (One of ancient China's countries) explored up to the outside of India for the first time. Due to that, safer route which could be connected with each other had been opened. Via that road, the Chinese silk began to flow to Roma in Europe.

An excellent game ruined by botting. The mechanics of SilkRoad Online are quite amazing: you can have lots of jobs in one character, learn different skills, explore the huge world map (that has amazing graphics too) or just test one of the two different races. The triangular system was fun too, since it allowed for the players to be either a thief, a merchant or a hunter (those are not jobs, they are your role in a caravan). Each one relies on the other to make money: thief steals from merchant, that pays hunters to be protected from the thief, so he/she can get to the town and sell his/her goods and get lots of money. If the game was bot free it would be one of the best out there. |
