Metal Rage is based in the 2070’s. It is a time when technology has developed and humankinds have landed on the moon. There is a power struggle completely different from the present, and the power struggle between three forces to maintain their rights and controls have spread to the ends of the earth.
The cityscape-turned-ruins maps, with volatile quietness of battle field and depressed outlooks of near future, send the tension of battlefield to the users.
Cutting edge units such as observers, repairers, and engineer units appear in the game.
