The Soulmate system of Asda Story allows unique bonds to form between players as partners. You may only choose one Soulmate, and you will be in a permanent party of two. You can gain more experience points than playing alone if you have someone you can trust as your Soulmate to play together. On top of it, if your Soulmate joints a party with other players, you can gain both party and Soulmate experience points while your Soulmate plays with the other party.

I have a close friend in real life who plays this game. The PvP has gotten pretty advanced and the war system is fun but unbalanced, but it appears that GMs are working actively on getting user feedback, such as GM Aris, a player who moved to California to become a GM. The All Channel chat function is a breeding ground for the obnoxious and the game has developed such a strict regimen to grinding it can be hard to get the hang of. It's a decent play, but not the greatest by far. |

last time I tried this, the game was full of gold spammers, there were bugs everywhere and because of the partner system everyone would harass me to be their partner - even though I already had one. They may have fixed this since then (about a year ago) but I've no intentions to come back. this may be the last running ASDA server since the Japanese one (micmac online) closed a while ago. |
