About Allods

Sarnaut was once a thriving and peaceful planet. It had several continents, multiple climates, and a wide range of magnificent creatures. Many distinct civilizations rose and fell throughout the years, such as the human kingdom of the Zem, the Elven kingdom of Airin, and the human kingdom of the June.

This game is actually pretty fun, with lots of classes, races and interesting pvp mechanics.
It got bad reputation because there was a patch (gipat patch, if I'm not mistaken) that pretty much turned allods online in a P2P game, since cash shop was absolutely needed if you wanted to do anything. However, gpotato learned that this was not the way to go and now every cash shop item is optional. The item that prevents dealth penalties is free and incense (that was completely needed before) is now only useful to prevent control spells from other players and even then you can get that by finishing a simple daily quest.
It's a fun game and I recommend it, so try ignoring its bad reputation and you won't be disappointed, because the game has changed a lot for the best.

WoW knockoff that has potential similar to Runes of Magic, except it's run by GPotato, which means the game is pretty much dead before it even gets out of beta.

At first, all you think about is "WOW knockoff".
There are many races/classes, (which I really liked) and are locked to either fractions:the Empire or League.
The art style and game play are both really close to Wow. The storyline is really unique, and at first it's really fun.
But there are major cons. The latest patch added the "cursed item" possibility. Upon death there is a chance one of your items will become "cursed", inversing stats until you buy a cash shop item to fix it (one item fixes one equip).
CS sells a very powerful buff (200% damage boost at max) that people feel you can't play correctly without. It just gets really boring and CS dependent end-game.

Been told that this could be an exciting game, but I'm not too impressed by what I've seen on youtube. Perhaps I'll try it shortly.
