turnbased fighting system with lag, great thing or still bad?

As many of you know, i use my cell phone as a modem and have no signal in my apartment.. I am looking for online games that i can play and the lag doesnt mess others up, I.E. Grand Chase

With the Turnbased fighting system, will my lag no longer be a factor, or will it make things worse?

(YAY!! FIRST QUESTION!!!! I WIN!!!)

It will make everything worse as the turns are timed.

Compared to Dofus, Wakfu's combat is much laggier. Only because it doesn't zone you into a separate map.

The game lags for me but it's quite possible to play still. I had big problems with games like LaTale, there was no way I could do anything with the lag, the monsters would kill me before I could even hit back. With Wakfu though, you have some time to make your moves and you should be able to complete a fight just fine, but it takes patience. It's still only OB and there are a lot of things that need to be fixed, but I'm very optimistic about the final outcome.

Give it a shot. >:3

The problem is that bad lag will really mess up others if you count on partying because no one likes to waste time, but you're skills and turn skip button will take forever to react, added that your turns will pass you before you can react.

I think i'd skip pvp, so that should help a bit, ne?

Actually, the lag is quite useful.
As well as inhibiting fast turns, it also destroys the monster AI -- leaving them vulnerable to any lame strategy.

Slightly offtopic- I read that you get bonuses for completing a turn within x seconds- more initiative and other stuff on the next turn or something.

With lags you'd miss out on that :3

Rarely notice that as an Enu (low base Initiative anyway).

Ouch if the lags that much they should probably try to fix it!
