Background on Uploaded Images

Hi all,

I decided to venture out into making pages that don't exist. Specifically, adding images where no one has uploaded any yet. I just uploaded the image for Hilde for the Love & Ambition event quest, but I noticed that the background wasn't transparent like I thought it would be. Is there an easy way to fix this?

Remove the transparent and save it as gif/png?

It's pretty much a tool to edit out your pictures, or some simple image editing stuff.

As for advanced image editing, you might want to get GIMP @ GIMP - The GNU Image Manipulation Program

Oh, I'm pretty cheap, I uses free stuff, lol.

Also, in the OPTION menu, set the screenshots quality to very high. Use GIMP for editing pictures. Its free and high quality. You don't have to use gif tools, paint or other crap.

I wanted to download GIMP from this mirror, but I wasn't sure which file to download. I know it's 2.6.2, but there's 4 files with that in their names, lol.

I tried that link as well, but I get this error: access violation at address 00409942; write of address 00401000.

You cant install or after you'll receives that error after install?

I can't install. That error shows up when I try to run the .exe file.

Lol, something have interfered with the installations.
Tried temporary disables the antivirus? Also, are you on administrative account?

I just downloaded it and installed it, and run it fine.

Also, download this:
- Download details: Windows Installer 4.5

On the file name called "WindowsXP-KB942288-v3-x86.exe" If you're @ WinXP

I'm on administrative account, but it's possible that the anti-virus software I have caused a problem. I'll check that, thanks.

EDIT: I downloaded and installed the Windows Installer and turned off my anti-virus program, but I still get the same error.

Try closing every program you have open before you try installing.

Is the option menu in GIMP or Paint.net? If it's in GIMP, I don't see it.

The option menu is in the game and it is for the quality of the screenshots.

Oh, I don't use screenshots. I just use the icons that are available when you extract the NRI files in ViX. See this thread for more details.
