jTO Problem?

Well, since Trickster maps need to wait till Monday so I download jTO for a change. However, after update and launching etc, the game just exits before reaching the server choosing screen, after the loading words disappear.
I registered an account as well as properly starts the game from the website ( got freaked out for ~30min before found out about the game has to be started from the website ).
Do anyone know anything about this issue? The game just shut down while everything else working normally. I'm using Window 7, have no problem running TO.

From what I know, jTO has region lock. It is accessible only in Japan region. That's why most of us are playing eTO, not that we don't want (well maybe in my case only).

jTO was recently set to block other non-Japan regions.

Just when I thought it's some compatibility issue since I could access jTO website to register/download the client normally without using proxy. I was looking forward to see the rumored 4th jobs there. Such a let down.



Then, is there anyway to bypass this? Proxy? Fake IP? Is there anyway?

there's no such thing as 4th job.

you can use a proxy to play, it's how I play jTO right now.

For me to bypass the jTO region block I connect my computer to friend's over in japan, I then use that computer in japan as an intermediary(proxy) to connect to jTO.

How do you use proxy to play jTO? I only know how to change proxy in browser but it doesn't change proxy for other program. And is any Japan proxy works or it has to be specific one?

try PacketiX, it's a free japanese vpn.
