The motivation of a hacker is to seek attention. They want to prove they are really smart and capable of doing something.

I guess I'd blame the one guy more so than the screenshots I posted from Relics. At least that person wasn't so arrogant about ruining the game for anyone and admitted that it's just a pack editor.
