The 15-day event will likely be applied to the server by increasing the xp/tm gained to 1.5x. You don't have to equip anything; if you played normally, you will just get 50% more from monsters.

so if we are in a royal party and are at 2.5x exp, and the 1.5x exp event is going on.... do we get 3x exp or 3.75x?

Where did you get 3.75x?
1.5x + 2.5x = 4x. Add in a booster and you gete 5.5x.

Dude, there is a smilie limit, just a heads up. Also, 15 Days =/= 2 Weeks. 2 weeks = 14 days. Anyhow, it is just a change in the monsters EXP.

3.75 is 2.5 times 1.5.

Events exp multipliers stack meaning that with a 3x booster its 2.5x1.5x3 or 11.75.

Anyways, theres always two ways to stack mutipliers (two ways on MS with crits anyways):
1 - Original % + (Added%-100%)
2 - Original % * Added%

These two are often confused because simple numbers weild the same result:
Try 100% as original and 200% as added. Same result
Now try 250% as original for party multiplier. See it now?

To be honest, I'm not even sure how to get 4x besides 1.5x + 2.5x. If that were true than a 1x booster would give more exp which doesnt even make sense.

Lastly and most convincingly, we had an event like this before and thats how it worked back then too.

so there will be 400% exp increase or x5 exp multiplier.

If it's a server thing, wouldn't everyone get it (including those that didn't get the 20 boxes and didn't qualify for the event prizes). 15 days doesn't make sense.

It'll probably be in the event pages like that time we had 1.2x exp.

This has been disputed so many times before.

Do this:

1) No party, No bracer > View EXP > kill monster > view EXP

2) 2.5x party, 3.0x bracer > View EXP > kill same monster > view EXP

Notice that its 7.5x EXP and 9.0x TM.

jTO and kTO use %, though our 2.5x party is equivalent to their 150% bonus

how is anyone getting confused

if you add the 1.5x experience with a booster we'll be getting a total of 11.25x base experience (OMG UBER HAX) and 13.5x tm exp. (TIME TO OPEN 15 DAY BOOSTER)
