Magic Boss Unique Sets?

Hey to everyone reading this thread. I have a simple qusetion i wanted to ask.

Is there any boss unique sets that are great for magics users (Sheep & Dragon) for level for 180 and beyond? It seems that all the boss unique sets have the best potential only for physical attackter aka (bunny, cats) even though the weapons have MA, the refining only works for AP.

I dont want to buy the lyr set from myshop even though it seems thats that highest magic equip purchasable. Currently i have a 180 sheep and i dont know what to get otherwise.

None of the boss uniques let you refine for MA. Your only options for in-game rods are Ults and the Phantom rods.

Ults is probably your best option right now, with Ult Blue Dragon Rod being 170, temperable, and usable for your level.
The phantom rods have random stats and can't be tempered currently. The stats can range from negative stats to positive stats. You can hunt for 215 and 275 ones.



Check around the wiki for in-game rods that can benefit you.

215 ults are also out now, you can get them from soki or spicy, I cant remember which

aww man that too bad. Will magic types ever not be harshly myshop dependent than other classes? At least Lions have the karan set/ pearl pistol... Magics dont get anything.

I was hoping that the Odinea set might be for magics but apparently not. I guess our only hope is Soki, Mad Ray or Spicy, if they have sets... unless I'm forgetting a Boss. Another thing, they need to add some Inner Wear and Head Accessory (Like the Pots & Pans and Rain Clouds) into future sets because there's basically no in-game alternatives. >_>

maybe the "Scientist set" or" Mad Ray set" will be: gun (like futurist gun idk), a hat like his hair (D: einstein), and eyewear (glasses); cause he is a sense type like karan, but.....tut & odinea are magic type but faraon and odinea sets aren't "MA refin" then.......soki set = "AP refin"

aww man that sucks if thats true, then i dont see any reason to continue leveling my sheep when there is no MA equips for future levels. Maybe got to wait until MA boxes (like sheep/dragon).

but other than having lesser LK (as opposed to using ults) ... boss uniques can be compounded with MA too... isn't that good enough...?

Lets take blood sword for an example. It has 45MA with additional 4 compoundable slots. Unless the compounder has really high luck stats, chances are that even with 4 MA filled slots, the blood sword will only have about around 70~80 MA. I dont know if thats high for a level 180 MA equip but do comment on my statement.

Besides, i have never seen any boss unique sets like blood sword or tender spear with MA compounds...

but say for an equivalent ultimate blue dragon rod (lvl 170) ... with an above avg base stats and if no myshop is used (that means no refine powders)... an unrefined ultimate BDR won't match blood sword in terms of MA... but refining it risks breaking it (ever experience the frustration of failing refining at lvl 0?? ) ... so w/o myshop it is easier to get a better MA for blood sword....

if myshop is used... u can use refine powders to repair the rod and refine to lvl 8 and above (depending on how much u want to spend)... but likewise for blood sword u can buy elixers, nates and magic stones and should be able to get it to say 100MA to match the ultimate? so with myshop... in the end the MA is more or less the same. (but with myshop u might as well go one step better and get myhax from say lol boxes and refine those.... lololol...)

so i would think that for non myshop users... boss unique set can still be used by magic users as a good alternative to ultimates... especially when u consider having the extra HV from the weapon and other bonuses (HV? HP? LK? WT?) u get from the complete set (depending on which set)...

Wow,it does...fack ntreev,I get 63x seals and I have to deal with those crappy 200 msts/NPC foods and now NOT EVEN TRIALS and it drops ults......................sobs........that's complete bull crap i'm pissed off now
