Are they important at all? Will completing them be of any use on later patches? Or are they just for show?

They are just for show, aka showing off how many boss seals you have compared to others.

Currently there is no purpose for them. They might put something special in the future but that would be a long time from now.

It'll be a problem if they do. Since you can't kill the other bosses if you surpass the level limit.

I personally dont think they'll ever have any true use. Look at 3 bosses for instance. Predator was removed long ago and replace with Karan, we lost all Pred seals we had, though he may come back as the Abyss boss. Master Mong and Mad Ray, while still in their respective rooms, were demoted as bosses, and their seals were removed as well.


Its been nearly 3 years since Trick first opened? I just dont see them doing anything marginally important with boss seals.

the time limit of extremely rare equipement can be recharged if you aquire a boss seal :3
i think that's the real purpose of boss seals

Boss seals were in place long before that, and theres only a handful of absolute uniques even in circulation. It doesnt justify the purpose of hundreds of thousands of seals from thousands of players. It seems more an 'add-on' in comparison.

I see. So they wont be of any use on future updates of the story?

Theres a small possibility, but as things are now, I see it as highly unlikely.
