Question about character sets and fusion

If you take a character set (like Azhi or Jen) and fuse the stats into different image items, will you still have the set bonus?

It looks like set bonuses are retained when you fuse the items. n_n

Yes, changing the IMAGE of the item will let you keep the set status. If you fuse the set images onto other equipment however, you dont keep the set status.

well that doesnt confirm it
im pretty sure the bonus set title next to the name stays on if you change equips, but it disappears if you leave the map.

Yeah, the first one was what I was wondering. XD I want to try to get the Angus/Buffalo set when it comes out, but the black/red doesn't suit my Bunny so I want to fuse it.
