The episode 5 bonus quests are optional and aren't pre-reqs.

After you have finished all of poirot's quests, you go into the tower and talk to the NPC's. They will give you a survey notebook and you have to do every floor's monster investigation quest from warrior tan. Every 12th floor, poirot will be in one of the corners of the map offering you a quest to kill the floor boss. The mq is a daily repeatable.
