Default What to do with a thing like Phantom School?

Phantom School is a sad and forgotten region, and as I have said a good amount of times their revo for it was adding that PVP dungeon. I think there should be more to it. It's not a completely polished idea, so I'm looking for some views and opinions, epically around love hunter robin.

path/1st floor would be a side area between mega and caballa, so quests about lvl 40 range
- increase the start lvl for shaman jia and toliette mara, and the reward EXP to reflect.
- add a quest in gate of phantom school(2 blue knuckles, 1 mask)
2nd floor would be a side area between caballa and oops, so like 55-60
- increase elliot's quest lvl and EXP
- add a quest involving those rosary beads(frozen corpse, ugly corpse drop)
- maybe a 3rd quest, not sure what maybe cup noodle and fried egg.
3rd floor would be a side area between oops and mermaid, so like 75-80
- Increase trapped goblins lvl and EXP
- switch coward craven's transfer quest to a regular item quest and place a normal portal there.
- add a 3rd quest, maybe something involving red/blue goblins, or cursed straw
Annex would be a side area between mermaid and ghost blue, so like 90-95
- Increase mermaid babe and pianist chris lvl and reward.
- add a quest (pocket guide 1-5), 5th cycle reward being a pet (I was thinking like a pet version of ghost book)
- add a quest (school badge, back pack), 5th cycle gives an innerwear (I was thinking a louis bitton quest)
- lower mad ray's entrance lvl to 100

any thoughts, opinions, or comments?

I've always likes Phantom School. I think your idea is pretty well thought out.

Giving players more incentive to level there would definitely help phantom school, especially if you threw in some TM quests.

everything you said is great except Mad Ray but I think it cuz what equips he drop...cuz it all above level 185 correct ?...but at least increase the drop Rate when digging so we can get to him faster... or idk something...

Overall I really would like to see Phantom School change....add some new quest, modfity the quest there and some other stuff...cuz now it really not so great...

You don't need to dig any items to get to him.... +o+;;

But anyhow, I really approve of this idea. I'd be sad to see the Annex be lowered in level, but I think if Phantom was given a rehaul I'd be fine anyways.

Truthfully, I think the only way Phantom School will ever be relevant again is if they make it a town with a key ques and everything

A unique set from Mad Ray would be another option

really, I was going by jTO where he drops like lvl 120-130 equips.

Also I feel I should clarify this, when I put those projected lvls, it was for the quests. so when I say 90-95 for the annex I mean chris's minimum quest lvl should be like lvl 90 and give an EXP reward of like 498,881-823,772 per cycle, instead of the current lvl 40 - 180,000 per cycle. I'm not looking to adjust the monster lvls, I was thinking more change the current NPC number values, and add like some new ones(kinda like permanent event NPCs).

Idk but I love Phantom School the way it is... it's lovely for TM for the lower levels [Ghost Book MQ.. Card Quests] and I guess the real true reason that I love it is because, it is the ONLY zone that hasn't had any treatment, and I guess my memories of being there don't want to fade away just yet >:

but you run into the same problem over and over on that, the lowest phantom school monster is lvl 51 and the highest is lvl 185. making it range from caballa relics to vamp castle on monsters. They have no place to put the key quests without massive adjusting monster lvls and restarting everyone's adventure book, or increasing the basic phantom school's monster lvls so it's higher lvl then the phantom dungeon.

they demoted mad ray to a mini-boss, I'll expect a set from him after they give one to master mong and the golem on mirage

I thought that at the start of the season 2 updates, but this is the only mention of phantom school I have seen since they started and it was back in August.

I think they should up the level of phantom school to suit higher leveled players (200+?)
There seems to be enough quests from all level ranges before that.. Putting in even more seems unnecessary, especially when it's so easy to level at those levels anyway.

(Marne should totally be beefed up and have the Trapped Goblin give awesome items.)

Those are really great ideas. I've been wondering when Phantom School would get a fix, let's just cross our fingers and hope.

The Annex would really help in leveling between that awkward stage of Mermaid Palace~Ghost Blue. (It ends up being about 10 levels, I've had way too many noob characters to know this...)

But the 55-60 part is iffy. Caballa Relics is very far from Phantom School, and then you already have the slight boost from 2nd Job advancement, plus all the Key Quests exp.

It's a very good idea.

Phantom School is a really nostalgic place. So, it would be nice to see more done with it. Although, it really is pretty easy nowadys to get to a higher level with the keyquests that are in game already. PS isn't needed at a lower level.

I have to go with the ideas to make it maybe for the higher levels. It doesn't really HAVE to have a keyquest itself. Just at least make the quests better for higher level players.

And at the very least, they should fix the fact that Lv 40 quests are in the midst of Lv 150+ monsters. Right smack in the middle of a death-trap map.

and that would make sense, if they seemed to actually care about the region. I am basing my suggestion on it from the vantage point that they are more likely to remove phantom school then update it, as that's what I have observed on it. If they wanted to update phantom school they would have done it in "revolution" updates when all they did was add the phantom PVP dungeon, or they would have done something when they passed by it while updating oops, mermaid, ghost blue, and rose garden. They could have even done those little tweaks like they did with swamp, mirage and mega underground when they updated snow hill.

My base thought for this suggestion wasn't they completely re-do phantom school, as they have shown they don't want to at this point. It was more "they put an event in phantom school, and never take it out". No messing with the monsters, no messing with the drops, no messing with the layout, just taking whats already there and making it usable.
