Thats why you're not supposed to go to websites that people post in games. You're not supposed to use your password for anything but the ntreev website..T_T it does look like it, but its not.. It does suck that you got hacked though, hopefully that person will get in trouble for doing things like that, and that they'll do something about those kind of websites.

NTreev should be responsible for this kind of activity. The site should have been closed down the first day it was noticed. Report and see if they can do anything?

I have already checked it out. The site may seem legit and similar to the original trickster site but is not.
The original login url is http://trickster.ntreev.net/Account/login.aspx.

There are many ways to tell this site is meant to key log. Here are the things used to determine it:

1. URL does not match the legitimate site.
2. Page source. It is a completely compressed mimicry.
3. Hoster. Host name was not given.
4. Host URL is not legitimate. It was created to be a hidden property.

Upon typing it within the search engine, one of the searches brings you to a Spanish speaking community forum that discuses illegal programs and what not for games.

I don't know a lot about this kinda of stuff but I'm guessing its not easy to just go and shut down some else's website? I mean a huge site like Gaia Online has has problems with Phishing websites for years. :/

But I think Ntreev should make some sort of announcement warning users. :<

That's why i'm fortunate to have internet common sense and did not TRUST the website after that person posted at the offical forums! (AKA I researched the website and found out it's just a website-hosting site... thing.)

Soo... I'm glad your hard-working sheep is safe... But unfortunate to lost all of your stuff... (In-fact, I think I herd of a simular hacking story too... I still kep the stuff that this looser dropped... I wish I could have kept that Trickster's name..)

Back to this... "anbuniyo"... I've seen that Buffalo before. He's pretty harmless, until from what I believe: was fooled like you and the hacker took his account and use that poor Buffalo as his "disquise".

The problem with those kinds of websites are more common than anyone would think. Although more often than not you would find them on websites like MySpace; speaking of everyday net places to visit.
From personal experience I can advice to not take links for granted even if they do seem to link to websites you desire to visit. Least of all if you are venturing through unknown websites.
Before you click on something I suggest you place the cursor over the link (without clicking), check the status bar (The bar at the bottom of your browser window, not the taskbar) and be sure that the link matches with reliable websites you know and visit frequently. Even if something seems a bit off; do NOT click it.
This trick happens even on very popular websites where any user has control to modify their own given pages, mainly links. So don't take for granted what you are so used to seeing. Examples of these types of websites are: Online blogs, online journals, social websites like myspace, and so on.

To be honest, there aren't really "hackers" in this game. In most cases-- if not, in all cases-- a person shares his/her password and ends up losing his/her account as a result.
