Future Trickster Content (please, read the first post)

I'm quite curious to see how this new character will fit in with the game stat-wise, since the character build/point distribution is limited to 4 classes only.

Does it mean if there's a 9th character there will also be a 10th? Trickster characters come in pairs.

There's probably going to be a total of four new characters; one for each Type.

Hmmm...Maybe the new characters will be hybrid types ( been thinking about them for a long time), bears being the combination of both power and magic, but with only these two to choose from, so you can be more AD > Spells , or go for full magic and be Spells > AD, like a sort of paladin class, both heal and damage at the same time. Since the 9th character will be a bear, how about the 10th being a wolf, or eagle, or tiger maybe, or snake , cause we need some evil looking ones too, or turtles, that would be fun xD!
Well, whatever character they decide to release i hope they don't ruin the game more then it is, while they do so ^^'

I kind of dislike hybrid type characters. For example, a battle mage can defeat the purpose of a mage and warrior.

Soon, 8 new Tricksters will come to Caballa, the old ones will be forgotten and kicked off. I just hope that the new characters will at least be balance. Sorry for being the stick in the mud. I would be happy if the polar bear was the female version of one of the pure male classes.

Hybrid types.. There are 8 different second job characters, 6 different options for a hybrid 2nd job. Divide by two for repeats and you get 24. And 24 new characters is too many.

I think second skills will remain the same but there will be a new set of pureskills.

Seems to be gettig to complicated, I think they will either be no typeing so you can chose what they will be (like i said before maybe they are removing the character typing so you can choose what you want them to be) or they will be more additions to the current types, more variety like she may just be another charm based one or power.

i dont know how they will introduce this... i mean the guardians where already counted, will they add more harkon guardians? will they be a new type ? will they be extra option for existing types?(wich could end up leading to EXTRA hibrid 3rd jobs?) :U im confused

I'd like to think that they wouldn't actually charge money for a new character. Character slots however, I can easily imagine those being available one day. Even if we can only have 3 extra slots at maximum, that would still be nice. Guess we'll have to wait and see if something like that ever becomes available. I really hope they do... of course it would make time capsules pointless, but if the slots were "expensive" then you'd probably still get people using time capsules because they're cheaper.

New characters being a cash shop "item" is a very real possibility. Look at Grand Chase, for example. However; there's also always a tedious quest you can do in case you don't want to pay money for them. So we'll just have to wait and see.
