It's not good news until we know exactly what they're adding... And in my opinion, if they're not also "balancing" (PvM and PvP wise) to make fights last longer than, oh, 2 seconds for some of those even with light MyShop, then it's not so great to me...

Sorry for the downer post... It's just after a while skills in this game kind of feel like using different bats to hit a home-run every single time. Adding more bats or some gloves won't make it more interesting IMO. Make the field bigger... (raise HP/defenses) >___>

On another note, that dragon looks like fun.

Bunnies will never get an AoE. Their focus is high 1v1 damage, not AoE damage like Buffalo.

Definitely No. Buns are haxxed enough, and with AOE, pretty much people arent gonna play the game, since 99% of the population will go bunny and ramp pvp. I suggest they should lower Bun's damage and skills, esp. tetra, which is a ridiculous skill for a 2nd job

Bunnies are meant to specialize in 1v1 combat, even the game tells you this in character creation. This is why their Pure Job gets a huge increase in 1v1 attack power.

A Hybrid Bunny is what uses AoEs because it's hybrid, it sacrifices some 1v1 attack power in order to use AoEs that the Buffalo uses.

That's how the Pure/Hybrid system is meant to work. You're supposed to have a gain and sacrifice for whatever side you choose. You give up the ability to gain these benefits, but in return you gain these other ones.

That's right. Each job has a pro and con, and is determined by what path u choose. Remember if u want something, u gotta lose something. In this case, bunnies can go AOE if u wanna go hybrid, but loses the advantage of adrenaline and other skills specialized in 1:1.

If by 'bossing well' you mean being able to set a small AoE that actually lets the mediocre 3rd job attack spells do kind of decent damage even at the final 2 or 3 bars of a boss' HP... then yeah. But aside from a strong shield, or a guardian, they still have no defense against some of the BS summons bosses throw out, or even the attacks of some bosses themselves.

I still remember hunting Tenter Lion with my SM... the random 13k~14k insta-spell hit followed by a second one killing me in 3 or 4 seconds. When I went in there with my light Witch it's just like, 'what 16k? cool story bro it's already regenerated.'

I just really hope that in the skills revision/addition, they implement 'signature card skills' for soulmaster, scientist, and primadonna. Seeing as, gladiators get chi sword, priests get celestial strike, thief masters get poison assault, champions get flaming fist and dark lords get dark commando.

You left out Gamblers :P They get (summon) card soldier. That is, I'm assuming you're talking about the class specific skill quests as opposed to obtaining them in the card packs.

It would be very hard to implement a skill like this for the Soul Masters because it depends on what seals you choose, unless they decide to do five different quests for each elemental combo, or even individual element, giving them two signature moves. Which would be okay, since the Soul Masters already are at a huge disadvantage. But it wouldn't help much. I'm assuming that it would just be a neutral magic spell or a spell that uses all five elements (SUPER RAINBOW EXCELLENT BLAZING STRIKE GO!) or something.
