Actually Shield Breaker decreases BOTH Gun and Physical resistances. That'd be way too cool to combine Tetra with it.

So, I trained my soul seed but I want the myshop guardian instead since I have not gotten all the secret cards anyways. Will I be able to just get myshop guardian?

Well, you need to get your in-game guardian first... 'Cause in-game guardians also give you the Guardian tab and a free slot. ^^;

Well... I know it pains, but i'm still missing SC 16 for my 2nd chara. BUt getting the MyShop guardian may be pointless because you need to "Awake" your Guardian from your "Soul", and thus that Guardian makes you a "Guardian" tab for your MyView.

Bleh I don't know how to explain clearly.

thats a good point because in the previous few posts it said that myshop guardian needs no SC cards to be hatched as the map is given in myshop, it may or may not mean you have to have a normal guardian first. but there really aren't any solid fact yet and god knows how long it'll take to come out on ETO

And the quest gives you the Summon Guardian skill as well
Unless the myshop guardian is so haxx that you can do all the quests for the 3rd part of Enlightment (If you haven't done it yet)

The quest to learn Summon Guardian is before Secret Cards. You only need to finish Part 1 & 2 of the whole Guardian Quest to learn those skills.

hm... so to get the summon guardian u need to finish the last part of the quest, part 3 (1 is card ID, 2 is getting the soul seed).

to do this part u need the map made by getting the SCs. if u get the map in ur myshop by buying the Spinel's seed, u actually dont need to have a guardian to use the myshop one then.

am i missing something?
