angel system, in case people wanted to know.

it's kinda like a in game mentor system. only people under 30 can call for help, and only people over 50 can be called on for help.

those who want help click on this angel:

you get a list of people that have already helped, or you can click a button that calls for help at random.

if you get called on a letter will arrive telling you someone wants your help. it looks like this:

if you accept the call for help you get ported to the caller, help them with whatever they need, and then click the door that replaces the letter to go back to where you were ported in from.

for your help you will get this icon for a week:


if you don't wish to be called on you can turn it off in options.

yea, pretty much, except A and B both will be teleported out and have to wait atleast 30minutes before trying again. Hoepfully they can improve the system so that there will be no wait time for anyone who finished the trial <_<

for whatever reason, the final product probably isn't going to be exactly what I had described... there are always fixes etc.

So it probably will be like:

everyone will be able to hunt the same boss in the same room, but whoever got the seal will be banned from that boss for an hr. Then the trial would start over again just to annoy people. @_@
maybe something like that...

I hope for the same but sadly I think they will cost more looking at how myhax pet items tend to be way more expensive than gear.

If thats the case, does that mean bossing can now be done at the own persons pace? Since there is no need to 'compete' anymore with a rush to the boss room. People can take their time to make through trials and then take on their own boss.

Depending on the new ratio, it would be a nice change for uniques to be spread over more people rather than a monopolised group of people who camp all kills. The new system also means a party can all go in at the same time(compared to before when it was a rush and some party members are quicker than others, then somebody else comes along and kills while u are still waiting for ur teamates), even though it wouldnt be effective over the stretch of 20mins, since everytime someone in ur party kills the boss, you are left with 1 less party member.

However I think members who are good at trials can do the trials and get to the boss to teleport the whole party (while the other members wait at the enterence), then the party members that are good at bossing finishes the boss off (then whoever needs the seal does the last hit). If my assumption is correct, in a party you only need to be either good at bossing or at doing the trials, and dont nessesary need to be good at both.

EDIT:Just read the bottom bit of Weis's post saying people can exit boss rooms...so in effect, only 1 person in the party needs to do the trials once to tele everyone to boss room...then if everyone is strong enough to solo...they can just disband the party when they are all teleported and exit the boss room...and all members go into their own seperate boss rooms...once again this is my understanding based on the info submitted...**NOTE:This all depends on the Boss Respawn Time**

Now all that needs to be done is to beef up the bosses more so it would encourage party bossing(Since most people can solo bosses with ease)! but for now the new system seems to have more pros than cons compared to the previous one.

Finally people can fuse over Rosalyna for something less annoying.

This will also give me a chance to possibly get the bride venus I want.

Kind of lame that fox is coming before raccoon though. Both sense boxes in a row is kind of lame for everyone, since the items will be similar to the lion items anyways, and I imagine less people will bother with the full sets. Just go for the (hopefully) innerwear, pet, and weapon and shield.

Don't worry, what you said is pretty easy to grasp.

Just in case, I'll elaborate a little. Basically, there will be multiple "boss rooms." Meaning that there can be ten people killing ten different Tenter Lions at the same time in one server. In effect, this eliminates "boss spawning." Boss will spawn instantly because of the multiple boss rooms. While bosses spawn instantly, a player still cannot re-enter a boss room for a certain amount of time if he killed that boss already.

This update is really fascinating for people who can appreciate its effects. There will no longer be a random n00b whining about people who are hogging Tut. Everyone can now be able to participate in boss hunting without being restrained by boss hoggers.

For once, this will make people who aren't hoggers want to farm seals. With the boss spawning tremendously increased, naturally, the drop rate must be reduced. Otherwise, unique equips will explode like crazy.

Okay this actually makes things very easy now if boss respawn is instant...

Scenario:

1.Form a party of 6
2.One person does the trials and gets to boss
3.Everyone is teleported to boss
4.5 members leave the boss room, leaving 1 to kill the boss
5.Disband Party
6.Other 5 members enter boss room (now their own)
7.Everyone finishes killing the boss solo
8. 6 happy people with 6 seals ^_^
Optional:
9.Since everyone killed boss, go back and reform party outside of trials
9.Grind in any boss trial room for 30mins*
10.Once time to redo boss is active, repeat step 1

*Note: No longer do u have to go back to the same trials when someone kills a boss (eg. bats at count trials) You can now grind there forever without getting warped ^_^

Still, an instanced system is entirely pointless if you can only go in before the other person kills it. I've literally seen sprint bunnies get to and kill tut before I finished the bridge part of the trial. That means that, in the case of tut, you'd only have a 30 second window during each spawn, to get to the boss, regardless of having your own room. Making it instanced, but then tying it to everyone elses activities outside is just stupid.

@Fox, if boss kills you, then u can go back in without passing the trial BUT he will be at full hp.

Rationally, when a boss spawns, people doing the quests will no longer be warped back. After all, there will be multiple boss rooms. For example, if there are 10 different Tenter Lions spawning within 3 minute, it would not make sense if you get warped repeatedly during those 3 minutes.

That was my best guess as well, since there is no point of single boss rooms if everyone gets teleported after everykill. From the way the information is presented, it would be likely that the boss killer is the only person(party) that gets warped back

Actually, I should rephrase a little. Whether bosses spawn instantly or not, as long as the number of rooms exceed the number of players farming a boss, it will give the illusion that the bosses are instantly spawning.

For example, if there are 300 people killing 300 Tenter Lions out of 400 rooms, the 301st person will get a boss instantly.

I don't actually know if the bosses are instantly spawning or not. So don't quote me on that. :p

Yes, I got that, but the situation is, it specifically says that once a boss is killed, the user cannot go into the trials again for 30 minutes, and also said EVERYONE is barred from entering the boss room until the next "spawn".

So now, for instance...

User A, B, C, D, E, and F are all trying to kill Tut. User A is a sprinting, dashing bunny, and clears the trials in 30 seconds and enters her boss room. User B has a sprint, but is not a bunny. User B enters his boss room 15 seconds after User A. User C clears the trials quickly and ends up in her boss room shortly thereafter. Around this time User A finishes off her boss, and the rooms are locked down. Users E and F finish their trials, but are unable to enter the boss rooms now due to the spawn having ended.

So yeah, it allows more people to compete, but ONLY if they get to the trials before the fastest person finishes their boss. I'm not sure of the higher boss trials, but Tut can be finished off ridiculously quickly. In the example Users E and F would have to wait in the final trial room for three minutes for Tut to respawn to go in. It's stupid and pointless to have such a system. Just let everyone go into their own boss rooms whenever they finish the trial, regardless of what everyone else is doing.
