Everybody thinks so, but it's NOT WHAT IT MEANS. When you say pre-purchase, you mean purchase it BEFORE it is available to everyone. So pre-fused means before-fuse, BEFORE it is available for trade.

Does premade mean not made yet?
And if jelly has been preset, then why isn't it still a liquid?
Prefix does that mean suffix?

From my understanding prefused means fused beforhand.

Prefused is a very ambiguous trickster colloquiallism. People should used the words "fused" and "unfused" to avoid this ambiguity.

Pre-fuse, if that's a word, may mean before fusing.
Prefused, as a past tense, means that something has already happened (the fusing). Therefore, it is already fused.

EDIT: I think "pre-fuse" is better written as "Pre fusion" (I'm not sure if you can pre-___ a verb). But it's still different from "Prefused".

Because it isn't clear, everyone can think what they want now. Some time before it used to be only fused and unfused, but now that "pre" came in and ruined everything...

Well I saw a thread with someone saying "I'm buying this and that, both items must be prefused" and it got me wondering...

I would take pre-fused to mean fused, like, fused prior to the buyer expressing interest.
Unfused would mean not yet fused.

You shouldn't be bothered by what other people put in their threads. If, when they use pre-fused, someone misreads it as 'not fused' or w/e, that's their problem, not yours. You can just avoid that by using fused and not fused. Or "unfused" as you said.

I like Torikakae's definition better, prefused past tense, means already been done.

Pre-[infinitive] means you should do something first. Pre-[past participle] means something has already been done.

I don't see what's so hard to understand.

Previously fused.

I'm seriously bewildered on why people confuses prefused. I'm not really that old on the forums but I immediately understood the term when I first came. =/

IMO,
Prefused= Fused already(maybe just for the form?)
Fused= Just fused?(could mean prefused too? its also possible that its fused for both the image and stat).
