Vixen 09-12-2012 09:36 PM

Lol, it's 99% likely it's an updated version of GG otherwise they wouldn't have added it again.. don't jump to conclusions >:

Windows 7 64bit could in the past if you replaced the GameGuard file. 32bit, however, couldn't.

They probably updated it now, though, since they know the majority uses Windows 7. It'd be a dumb move if they added the same old GameGuard back.

::: nProtect Global Site :::

Doesnt list Win 7 in system requirements, lol. :py19:

Hum I guess I'll follow their instructions a bit later. But thanks for the clarification; I now know it is my computer.

Edit: It works fine now, I deleted gameguard and let it reinstall itself. Now i do not get that error.

Is is really that effective? If that is the case, I feel happy too.
I'm using win 7 tho I hope it will work to play...

Edit

Have anyone noticed the picture for GG is new, I like the old one better tho...

Swadloon 09-12-2012 11:09 PM

gg, its almost like they want to drive away what players they have.
Even if it somehow manages to work just fine with Win7 users its still possible that it can clash with anti-virus and other programs like it used to, not to mention the amount of space it uses. I don't know if i'll be able to run it on my laptop anymore without lagging to death. :/
Its hillarious that people still have the audacity to defend SGI with all the dumb moves they've made lately..
