I got the 30 pet in my 3rd box. I ummed and ahhed over whether to get the 190 box or the 30, but given that I only planned to spent $20 on trying I think the 30 box was a better choice. If I'd been guaranteed to get the pet in under <5 boxes, then yeah I would have bought 190 boxes, cos the hp/lk boost would have been awesome. Still, can't complain about perma-sprint for less than $10.

Can we buy any of the character boxes or do we have to buy cat boxes to get the sprint?

Also, if we already have the pet do we just need to buy the corresponding box to get the sprint?

Cat box -> Cat Sprint

Other characters have accessories and rings of their own. So yes, you must have a Miracle Jen and buy at least one box on your own recharge.

The capes the only item I've never seen, even during the last event when I bought a lot more than just 3.

Is there a list of the different accessories you can get? I've seen the cat sprint but I am curious about the ones for the other characters.

Yes, DX boxes are a difference. However, one can easily be "fooled" by the wording of "double". If regular boxes have a 5% chance of getting the pet, that means 1 out of 20 boxes. Doubling that would make it a 10% chance, also in other words 1 out of 10 boxes.

i think DX boxes are a difference compared to normal boxes

Attention Tricksters!

After Maintenance on 7/25/2012 the Item Packs will no longer be dropping. Additionally The Ordinary and Unusual Keys will no longer be available in MyShop and any Item Packs and Ordinary Key EV that are remaining will be removed. Ordinary Key and Unusual Keys that have been purchased from MyShop will remain for future use.

So be sure to open them all before the maintenance!
