(First off: a note. I have no idea where to put this, so I'll say here for now and let a mod move it if need be.)
(Second off: Another note. This thread is just to gauge interest. You are not bound to play by any means if you post here.)
Now: I am thinking of starting a Dungeons and Dragons game set in the Trickster universe. Here's what we (myself and the person I am planning this with) are looking at so far:
*3.5 edition rules
*We are using
System Reference Document classes and such only. This is so everyone can easily (and legally!) be more-or-less on the same track. EXCEPTION: No psionics allowed, as the DM has had no experience with them and they don't really fit well into the setting anyway.
*There will, of course, be a thematic connection between the Trickster classes and the Dungeons and Dragons classes - we are still working out exactly how we will relate each D&D class with a Trickster class, but most likely it will go something like this:
Me: Oh, I see you're choosing to play a female cleric....so, you want to play as a sheep?
You: Uh-huh.
*This will be a game targeted at beginning players, and all are welcome.
*This game will take place over IRC. Once I gauge how much interest we have, I will set up a channel for the game to take place in.
*There will be no restriction on alignment, but Good and Neutral characters are strongly preferred.
*We have not yet determined what the starting level for play is. Check this space for further updates.
If you are interested, please post here with your approximate level of experience playing Dungeons and Dragons, your approximate level of experience roleplaying in general, and your time zone.
Thanks you much!
Your humble DM, Freyalise
