Problem with reading pdfs in firefox
Hello all,
When I try to open pdfs from a link (and in a frame) in firefox, I sometimes have the following issue.
I need to refresh the page a few times before it loads. I have updated adobe reader and it has not helped. I never have this issue in internet explorer.
This issue has persisted for 2 years since I bought this computer.

Anyone know what I may be able to do?

Add-ons -> Plugins
Is adobe acrobat there?

Adobe acrobat is the first plug in in the list.

Try updating to XI?
Maybe firefox disable it by default due to security issues.

adobe reader has always been a bit wonky in my experience. you might want to consider using the foxit reader, it's also free software.

Chrome comes with a built in .pdf reader, you could try that.

Iono, the same thing happens to me in Chrome sometimes. If I just hit back and click the link again, sometimes it's all better.

Thanks for your replies, everyone. I will give them a go when I next turn on my computer.
