Default Why is my laptop still freezing?

I've just gotten it back from the shop, turns out it's fan was full of hair(mine) that stopped it from doing it's job but it's still freezing like before.

Examples: - i watch a stream, pause it and when i start it the stream lags like hell
- i play league of legends/latale and my fps drops drastically (in lol from 24 to 3) or completely freezes for 1-4 seconds
- even when scrolling up/down a site the browser will freeze.

Default

check your task manager performance
monitor the chart and see what is spiking when it freezes (or whether the memory is always almost full)
When the memory is always full it will do a lot of swapping which slows the system a lot.
Run the resource monitor and look through everything to see if there's anything unusual.

Also check your disk with HDTune look at the SMART and see if there failures or high warnings.
(Hope you are running Windows 7)
