I feel like this has been an exercise in futility. The external disk enclosure arrived this morning. I plugged my hard drive in, everything works and all's good, until I tried to access my user folder on that drive [what would previously have been C:\Documents and Settings\Lyn\... or whatever] and it denies me.
Is this because the user account was password protected in Windows on that computer? How would I access it? I clicked "Continue" and that green progress bar at the top just moves until it's almost at the end, and it gets stuck there. Nothing happens.
Edit: Nevermind. For some reason, it works now.. o.o Sweet Jesus, I got my files back. I love you guys. +Rep to all!
Edit #2: Doubt my BIOS is that crappy. My fattie told me the same thing about the on board graphic card and that's why I tried it, but no luck. How much does a graphic card normally cost? I know I'll try building my own computer someday. xD
