If the image is above 97.kb but is smaller than 160x160 pixels, is it supposed to work? Because I keep getting 'remote file is too large' when it's 85x64 pixels.

Nope, its < 97KB and <= 160x160. If you need a smaller filesize, use .png. I see what you're trying to put there and there's probably no way to scale that - it has a lot of frames.

i keep trying to get my new avatar to work, its an animated avatar and seems to not move, its just a still picture when i save it. any suggestions?
