Which one do people recommend, Bandicam or Fraps?

Bandicam adds a watermark.

But otherwise I've heard differing opinions about which one is better.

I would recommend getting both, and then using the one that doesn't lag you.

You need another hdd separated from you main hdd (that install windows and sdgo) to make recording running smoother. (suggest hdd that can WRITE fast)

Because, Most problem come from you hdd cannot write as fast as it need.
So it end up eating system resource too much

I also recommended Dxtory over Fraps over Anything that can screen recording for game recording.

For Video Compression

I using VirtualDub with Xvid MPEG-4 Codec for easy quality and less confusion (I'm currently try x264 but recent setting still poor quality)

tl;dr

Get another separated HDD
Using better video recorder
Compress Video with VirtualDub with Xvid MPEG-4 Codec

was using FRAPS but when i turned recording on my FPS dropped to lower and 30 , and the output video was also 30 fps

what the hell ?? and the video's size is almost 2GB ......

you need to set the recording fps to the natural game fps which is about ~50/60

and yea the output video is Xvid AVI iirc

u are most likely need to compress the file after recording, also i recomend getting a separate HDD if u want optimal performance.
-dxtory or bandicam lag less than fraps btw (bandicam has less file size too and they're both free)
not to mention sdgo doesnt support quad cores so it is expected to lag with low-mid tier quad cores
