Boost down. Fly away.
You make it sound like they're good homings. I know they home, but they honestly aren't that amazing. Low damage as you won't land with them unless as support.
They are slow and unlikely to hit anyone who keeps aware of their surroundings.
In a support situation where you COULD land all of them, Arios would do more damage. (Unless I Field of course).
Not really. "most units (the ones being used)" rape FAZZ in terms of BRs and KD beams.
Ok. Not absolutely necessary, but I see your point. I would still argue that being beam only doesn't make it shit-tier.
arios cant pokeshot since it's dps
You can abuse R mode Vdrop mobility to get shots in from odd angles, over buildings and all sorts of places. Whilst Arios gives up the pokeshooting ability, it inherently gains some with mobility.
purge mode melee destroy's MA
I don't really understand this one. Could you explain? I'm pretty sure you shouldn't melee MAs unless they're close to death. Or if you're SR EW.
Low Defense...higher defense than Arios... fazz is more durable
Ok guys. Stop this already.
Both FAZZ and Arios have 14500 HP.
Arios has a 3500/50 Shield. FAZZ does NOT.
Arios has 21.3/19.8 DEF. FAZZ has 22.8/19.5 DEF.
What does this mean? It means FAZZ has a grand total of 1.5 more DEF than Arios in normal mode. Correct me if I'm wrong, but thats about 3% reduction.
So please don't use FAZZ's defense as a selling point. Otherwise we should now start worshipping Destiny as the tank homing scissor god. (22.8 DEF)
Skill 2 for FAZZ activates at 50% hp and you need SP. And still nobody knows how much damage it reduces by.
And a final note.
most units (the ones being used) have some type of beam defense
Then doesn't this just make FAZZ even more useless? I have I-field, now why do I want some deadweight on my team providing me with a minimal damage reducing buff? Granted, it has other team buffs but is it really worth having a low tier suit on your team?
Of course, Arios doesn't fare that well either but at the very least I believe it works better than FAZZ.
