But your best bet should be AS kyrios.

How does Vigna Ghina play like Ahead Smultron? Ahead is just beam spam...so Brave is like literally the same thing. AS Kyrios has a grenade launcher instead of another beam machinegun

Because ahead simultron's main attraction is the smoothness of its shots while switching in wep 2 and 3, as well a range SP.
Brave has 2 bmgs, and it doesn't chain wep2 to wep3 mostly, just cause wep3 by itself is sufficient.
AS kyrios is basically a better ahed simutron cause it has both ballistic and beam weapons, but the play style remains the same.

Smultron is somewhat similar to the standard BR Ahead.

It's very different if you actually played them....
BR ahead is a support suit that relies on close - mid range while being a decoy with it's annoying wep3 status ailments and constant shooting.
Ahead simultron can fare well by itself with its decent beam rifle and bmg used for grazing faster enemies, then using range SP to bombard and finish off enemies with lower health.

Thanks for the suggestions. After watching PvP and some videos, Kyrios seems to be exactly what I'm looking for. The play style is pretty much the same except at a faster pace and the option for it's homing missiles.

I think I'll also try to get Vigna Ghina. Seems like it's skills make it easy to spam it's range SP.

As for Brave, the weapon set seems the most similar, but I've only been playing SDGO casually for a month so I'm not that good, and I really need the netting for the range SP.

I have AS Kyrios, Ahead, and Ahead Smultron.

Lets see:

AS Kyrios = w2 is 3 shot BMG, w3 is grenade spam, ranged SP
Ahead = w2 is 3 shot BMG, w3 is BMG burst, melee SP
Ahead Smultron = w2 is Standard Beam rifle, w3 is 3 shot BMG, ranged SP
Brave (Standard Test Type) = w2 is 3 shot BMG, w3 is lolwtf BMG burst.

Ahead and Ahead Smultron is sort of similar because they're both beam suits and both are B ranks. Ahead Smultron and AS Kyrios is somewhat similar due to their ranged SP. 'Playing similar' is such a broad term really.

really really solid, only downside is not having ballistics, having one of the if not THE most powerfull beam machine gun in the game and THAT WEAPON 3 just destroys everything

Pretty awesome, no ballistics as mentioned. But it's beam mg has the best damage per shot of all the sub S rank beam mg weapons atm. And on top of that, the weap 3 is lifted off of HAC which means it destroys any suit it catches off guard.

Provided you abuse the MA mode, it's basically a speed and agility focused Unicorn Gundam, with a better mid - close range setup.

How does Force Impulse hold up these days in KR? I see the quest for it, I see Impulse, and I want to get it just because it's a free AS Rank.

I know, you don't have to mention. But disregarding personal skill--how has it aged?

(Just talking about the suit. I won't be getting any better 'till I get unrestrained playing time, around 2, 3 years from now, when I hit college...orz)

grunt unit, nothing special, it'll get raped hard. it takes a ton of skill to actually be able to stand against newer units with a force impulse or an aile strike, (mwu also)

How do people view Zeta? The normal A rank one? Up to now it has been one of my only A ranks so I have nothing to compare it to.

Its better off as a mix-exclusive suit, meaning you need to make something else with it for it to be really useful.

Ugggh, why does Masurao's w2 have to be so weak...

It's a weapon used to catch enemies, not damage.
You don't have to rely on other weapons to damage the enemies anyways, the wep1 is good enough already. (better than Bushido's ahead wep 1 by far)
