AR Calamity at OC5 HP/Def cannot be killed by my BR Regelg, which is at OC5 full attack. I'm serious when I say I died first against a zook battle with AR Calamity. The def is ridiculous, and anything that hits at the front gets reduced by a lot.

is it really difficult to play or what? The all-meele suite of weapons look very unappealing.

Try getting a T2 from SR(EW) cap if you want
And Epyon can be really good despite being completely meele.
Has long whip, good for support/weakening
Has insane boostdown reload
Has control shock in MA mode (This MA mode weapon has meele dash( Not really common)
Can chain up to 8 hits with SS, meaning its can kill quite a few units in 1 combo or just keeping and unit occupied while your team shoots it.
Unlike The 0 AS, which is more rambo( rush, meele, spin when swarmed, poke KD anyone else, run to cover, then rinse and repeat)

AR calamity has both precision and fortress
which penalty does it get?
defense penalty
might as well go all attack or hp-attack

its main def stat is goddam high to start with anyways

Isn't it like ground gundam?

I am not sure about atk strat, but I think it has no penalty on the defense strat due to the skills setup.

ground gundam's skill 1 is fortress and 2 is precision
AR calamity's skill 1 is precision and skill 2 is fortress
hence
ground gets penalty on attack and ARcal gets penalty on def

u can only do the sombo with the control shock if u got no lag.......

bad expirence from hitting enemy with control shock, pressed R, lag, and got melee'd to death while still in MA mode

Sword calamity definitely is more better than Sword Strike, it's SS speed is so much faster, it has double boomerangs (albeit at the cost of slower reload), and you have phase shift at skill1.
High performance OS is also good, but you lose seed awakening, depends on how you want to view it.

seed awakening is quite pointless
at 30% health, ya wont be keeping it for long
anyways
sword calamity is better in all ways
but
only if u can cap it
