Today I found out something. Sazabi's beam pistol is now blocked by Infighter. Its prolly old news, but what the hell man?

I'm am honestly saddened by this.

Yep, same thing happened to Nu after the beam range buff. I assume it is because the beams are now considered far range.

Really? I know about the beam range buff but does it really reach far? Or is it NTD craptastic range? I was quite surprised since this buff wasn't in HK up until recently.

At least I know I'll make GNADs cry now.

if Nu and Sazabi's Beam bazookas are the same as F91, then they have a range of 3800

NTD's Beam Magnum is only 3300

so yeah its NTD craptastic range +

EDIT: nu and sazabi's beam zooks are 3300 range

Also, Nu still got the bazooka and beam on I-field form, while Sazabi still got got the bazooka on the first form to fight against veteran infighter units. So overall, I think it is a good trade.

Not to mention that you will make GNDs cry even more after the funnel buff.

That actually makes more sense, since the more defense you have, the more effective fortress is.
Though speed agi HAC would be very interesting. (Lol at a R mode that moves normally.)

me wants godly 1400 beam zook that outranges anything thats not flashlight/funnel/sniping nao

and more HP to die less quickly =/

Not yet. The main part of the buff is the boost in R mode.

F91 is perfectly viable as is though ;D

the mode 1 is godly if you can get in the right range

hmm I find myself in mode 2 more often, spamming the feg out of the Beam Bazooka's range and trolling NTDs as they can't reach me.

Usually I just switch to mode 1 and VSBR some one on the otherside of the map and switch back

Mode 1 Beam Rifle only sees much use when Beam zook is out of ammo, and Machine cannons mostly come out against I field suits or when theres a large opening for high DPS (enemy in beam spec, they dont know i'm there etc)

Mode 1's beam rifle shoots so much faster than that zook that i find it pointless to use the beam zook as long as you can see the enemy. I dont acutally suggest staying so far that you cant see the enemy. Afterall, skill 2 has scissor defense built in for a reason

F91's mode 1 is extremely good for dpsing. Mode 2's beam cannon is good and all, but its just not up to par with mode 1's ranged options in term's of dps + you cant tell wth you're shooting. An example is, what if you shoot an akat being melee'd by your team mate with 1 hp, beam reflects off akat, kills your team mate, akat shoots you once with weapon 3 and you die. Game ends, gg.
