Talked with neko, its not really a shield per se, but the i field shields are a different kind. If you really have noticed these shields, when people shoot at it, the health lost will be refilled, and SP is gained by both sides as well, which would logically mean health was actually lost, and the "shield" heals the damage instantly

But the thing is, it would still work even if nu/v2a has 0.1 hp left, which means health is not lost!

Well here's my theory.

Consider the possibility that normal iFields work like a multiplier. So the game engine will recognise that it needs to multiply the hit damage by 0.XX and then apply it to the suit HP. Call it damage reduction.

If the beam shields were truly unbreakable then it would give the command to the game engine to multiply the damage by zero.

But, apparently you can break the beam shield. This would mean that the beam shield would have a -usage limit-.

I dunno, something I just came up with =3=

acutally in a mission mode, i noticed with my v2a (when i had basically no hp left, it wasn't even visible on the bar)

after the apsallus 2 shot me with its evil beam of doom, my hp was restored to full

That's just weird. Lol

Damage absorption!

That is a bug that not only applies to V2A, but to all MS as well.

I don't know how to put it. If you are using a MS with a silver of life for a while, and you gained some SP, your HP will go back to full. It doesn't happen frequently enough, but there are rare occasions it does.

I have experienced it quite a few times while grinding. Especially in Mission 1.

I experienced it in PvP....
And I found out somehow I lost a life....
And that one guy on the enemy team could never die....

Happened to me too. Especially while while waiting for the next Psycho Gundam to spawn.

I wonder if it happens to scenario missions where you only have one life.

Found out the when a Nu in I-Field Uses guard item, the effects of I Field is nullified.

So I found myself an old account with Shining Gundam Super Mode and Zeta Gundam Beam Saber...

I want to make either Nu Gundam HWS or that God Gundam + LAWLHORSE.... which one should I go for? :v

Neither of them are really that good. If you must, I'd say HWS. iirc you said that you didn't like to melee so go for that.

Well, what would be a decent ranged S ranks to aim for? And yeah, melee just isn't my thing. I get confused and just end up dying :v

if u like ranged types, HWS is one the best ranged type, featuring
-funnels (block ranged sp and slow-mo missiles)
-beam lazor ( well a KD lazor which reloads stupidly fast)
-homings ( homings missiles that reload stupidly fast)

purge
-beam sabre (awesome for paper)
-BMG (ur typical mid range dps, but paper)
-zook (well a zook, like normal nu's)

if u like bullet time, go for HAC it features a full round infinite bullets that makes enemy dissapear, another ranged options are
-NTD
-GN Arms Type D
-Akatsuki
-Sinanju
-Z
-The O
-Kshatriya
-Dendrobium
-etc

if u want i could make a small brief about each one of them, but considering u are still new to the game, u probably want to stick out with those without homings

Just for clarification, what does HAC stand for? And also, what do you mean stick out without homings?

You should also look for suits that are easy enough to mix, if you don't want to end up getting discouraged. Dendrobium is easy to make since you can get its key unit trought quests. It's pretty boring to play though.

Aside from Nu Gundam, there aren't many difficult ones to get since I have Zeta (Beam Saber) already. Though, Nu seems like it'll take a while to work on.

It's kinda easy since all the B ranks can be mixed....
And B ranks are cheap to mix, unlike A ranks
