It's a nice suit in my opinion, being agile and speedy which makes it great for hit and runs. I'd say a Arios that has been improved (no crappy w2, single arm for w3, addition of homings on mode 2).

Although I agree the wep 2 was bad.
It was practically a extra weapon, what with the better wep 3 and MA mode wep 2...

Nah never said I need homings for me to like a suit.

Just that SRios is essentially an Arios with improved weapons and homings slapped on mode 2.

a few tips while playing arios, his kit is self explanatory.
the missiles doesnt make you inmobile, so u can shoot them while boosting
the dash attack allows you to create space and recover boost while moving (only on ground usage)

despite w3 having a slow, we all know that it's a deep shit
w2 has very low ammo count and it's reload isnt the best of the best
w2 has a little more range than regular beam rifles but it's still considered a mid range weaponry
there is a trick with the missiles, the way they launch. Missiles are launched up and from the back, because arios is a fighter/ma when u move/dash towards left/right, u'll notice he leans depending on the direction outputted. this means that when you dash right, the missiles will move towards left, creating an angle from left to right (really small but it's a fun fact to know, it's really hard to actual usage tho)

Let's talk: Raphael.

What do you guys think? I'm enjoying the suit quite a bit. Any suit will benefit from mobile stun and those GN Claws are damn handy, damage and reload wise.

Mode 2 has mobile non KD beam that hurts like fck. Only downside I see is it being a double shot, so its harder to poke shoot. But other than that w2 is very handy, giving Raphael a pretty versatile beam weaponset. I hardly use the melee, since most suits just melt before they get to you, but having no melee boost is a very nice thing for papers.

Oh and Veda's Backup + DX style beam sp is pretty handy too.

Anyone else got other opinions?

Is raphael w3 homing?? Seems kinda slow and move only in a straight line. So is it hard to use?

It's categorized as a Sword Bit. How it travels depends on how you curve it.

No it's very simple to use.

I guess if my teammate is getting melee'd or if I'm within melee range of a rock but wep1 on mode 1 is sufficient enough for those situations.

And I've never had any ammo problems with it yet. It doesn't have the ammo to blast away but I usually pick my shots and let the funnels finish them off.

You could kite with wep2 on mode 2 but it seems much more effective to stay at a flashlight distance especially when the skills kick in. Or am I underestimating mode 2?

it's that main mode is too damn good to let it past by, only scenario i can see using mode 2 is either using melee or for ammo


@topic

just for the record, because SR Arios isn't op as **** or has some sort of real gay weaponry (or feature, say... fin funnel barrier) doesn't mean it's instant shit ya know u could use some manual aim instead of right click people to death -.-

Figured as much, guess there's no problem in hogging mode 1. Seemed weird to not need mode 2 during a game so I thought I was missing out on something.

And about SRios, I don't know why people are sleeping on it. It has a disgusting mid-range arsenal and has viable melee to go in on I-Field users. I'd try to get it, but at 40K and 15K I don't have much of a shot. Besides, I'm still down with using my Arios.
