Okay this one is a bit harder to use the search function for so I hope it hasnt been covered.
Does anyone know if skills like Def Up, Atk Up are based on % increases or 'fixed' increase?
Is the increase the same regardless of the unit being an C rank or A rank? I'll make up a random example with made up figures to show what I mean.
If a zaku had 4 defence and a hyper shining had 9 def, what would happen to their defence when the defence up skill activates? Theory A will be a fixed (I'll use 2 as an example) increase while Theory B will be a %(i'll use 25% as an example)
Zaku Def: 4
Theory A: 4+2 = 6 Def
Theory B: 4*1.25 = 5 Def
Hyper Shining Def: 9
Theory A: 9+2 = 11 Def
Theory B: 9*1.25 = 11.25 Def
As you can see having a fixed increase gives the advantage to low Def suits, while a % based system would be more favourable to high Def suits.
I would do some testing on this but I have no way of measuring this correctly due to these suits having different defence stats to begin with
If theory B is correct and it is based on a % increase, does this apply to other skills as well like Trans Phase Armour, Laminate Armour and Ifield (or all skills in general?)?
I am asking this because I want to know what I will sacrifice if I put points in Atk ^_^ Thanks for the help! If this has been covered already, hit me in the head =P
