GM Striker as a paper is no less strange than Stark Jegan as a rock. Not like it matters, the whole system's getting trashed anyway.

About the system getting trashed:

It's going to be a while before all this new stuff is going to be implemented. You think they can take out the RPS system, OC, implement custom parts, enhance old suits, etc. all by a snap of a finger?

And the new system is gonna go through lots of testing before they actually implement it. There is still a lot of time between now and then.

That is such an uneducated assumption I don't even know where to start. Don't get me wrong you could be right but more often than not, when people announce things it usually means it's already well into production or finished.

Isn't there a saying like "making assumptions makes an ass out of you and me?" or something? There is no telling.

While lamentable I can deal with GM Striker being a paper because Mk-V yeeaaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAEAAAAAAAAAAHHHH HHHHH

Edit: Look on the bright side guys, maybe GM Striker will be a really fun gimmick paper like GP02 being a psuedo-rock, gimmick scissor or something

They are going through tests and shit in a beta server sort of thing. How to join and when the beta server is starting will be announced at another date.

Going with what Zahl says, there is that possibility. I don't think swapping over an entire system would be hard, considering the fact the system probably has been tested. I'm sure this was not a random idea Netmarble planned out, they probably made the finishing touches to the new system. But then again it's to player preference probably, so different players will have different feelings regarding to the new system implemented.

Relatively speaking for Netmable if they did dump a new system, it wold look as bad like one of the newer game companies Killercombo, who introduced TAG mode into their version of Elsword, which is full of bugs and exploits.

Wasn't SDGO always a Beta? So a Beta within a beta lol.

The game itself isn't going to have all these new implements into it until a while later. There will be a separate server with the updates. The game will continue as it is until the testing is over and softmax decides that this is a right idea.

Softmax testing things on their own = a hellhole. Look at suits like SRudim, 00R, HWS, etc. that they "tested" themselves.

They're letting players test out the changes first and then implementing it into the game if it's decent.

00 Raiser some nerfs were really unnecessary. In HWS defense, it was horrible before. You are right there are some suits that outperform anything.

Do I need to remind you about the Funnel buff? Softmax most certainly didn't pull that out of their ass. They probably tested it like you said.

But it was still such a major change that screwed up the game for a while. And now, with such big changes, you think we can have the same confidence in Softmax?

It's like you guys are complaining that Softmax is letting us test the changes.
