Got OC2 on Sword Calamity after failing OC2 and OC3 consecutively. OC3 attempt FAIL. Back to zero. Screw this shiz.

Also rolled the Chaos cap for a fricking Gouf Ignited. Got a C2 one on the first roll and broke it. 15k later, ALL C RANKS. FFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUU *insert much raging and profanity here*

If you have failed OC2 consecutively, what made you think that LP was not needed for OC3?

1) My religion dictates that I use LPs on OC4 onwards except for S rank suits. Then I use them even at OC3.

2) I would if I had the cash.

3) Just cause no one uses it doesn't mean it's crap.

acutally, gouf ignited is really bad

the weapon 2 is awkward, the weapon 3 has a crappy delay, and the weapon 1 has less range than it appears.

Did I say it was "crap"? I only said "it doesn't seem any good because no one uses it", which is a reasonable assumption. People I know who capped it stopped using it after they tried it. Feel free to try it and tell me that I am wrong about it.

Gouf Ignited has good MG damage tho. If its just for running up to someone and cockblocking them with the heat whip then its fine and all, right?

Also, I've survived playing SDGO with just the default 4 hangars. Got another 1 from an event and another one from Mimi, so that's a total of 6 hangars for a whole 2 year career haha. Sometimes I feel bad for myself really.

I have 2 C2 B rank suits but they aren't rocks so I'm okay with it. They are both OC6 now so whether I'm lacking that one point doesn't make much difference anyway. I like those suits so I don't mind. Stats isn't everything all the time.

Gouf Ignited isn't actually that bad, but there's probably better choices. Think of it as a B rank Strike Noir with a weaker melee, A doulbe shot double pistol (as in Strike Noir's one click x2) and a whip that inflicts bullet zero instead of control shock.

How it shoots has nothing to how much damage it does...

And are you kidding me? 1800 damage is not enough for you on a B rock?

And it's reload is pretty standard for MGs.

3) The whip range is too short. Usually a whip goes a long way toward making a melee weaponset awesome but in this case, the limited range makes the whole thing fall a bit short (puns intended).


The saving grace is that beam mg as people have already mentioned. The multiplier is indeed high and with attack up it can deliver some good damage. But it's not enough to bring the suit to anywhere but mediocrity. Especially since the melee swing speed is so slow compared to other modern rocks.

BD2 would like to speak to you

and yes, Ignited is indeed inferior to, say, Norris Gouf but it is still acceptably playable in BC or even ABC rooms. Provided you can use it well. MG does a lot of damage but lacks a big clip. Melee is decent with vertical reach but lacks speed. Whip is just short. So, yes. It fall in the middle class of B rank rocks but is not exactly near unplayable like some (Zgok E comes to mind).
