disconnected from gate server?

Hi guys so I tried to download this game for my friend but it didn't work. I'm not the most computer savy either.

So I believe everything has downloaded and at the log in screen after I type in the ign and password it says "disconnected from gate server." I'm not sure what that means but I get kicked out of the game. Can't really do anything else after that. I've tried 4-5 times but it keeps kicking me out. I'm not sure if its because we were at our old college trying to get on. Maybe the school blocks computer games? I know when I had to set up my xbox when I was still in college I had to go through a process, but I doubt that with a computer game.

Nevermind found out what was wrong. mods can you delete this plz.

It's very possible that your school computers block access to the game. Does the PWE website work?

Did you try running the game in Windows XP compatibility mode and running as admin?

oh yeah i think its because i was at school so they blocked the access. ended up going to a friend's house the next day and it worked. thanks for the reply tho
