I don't really think you have to do that.

If your current character has no focus, then you can choose any of the 3 focuses when you get to Lv20. If your character already has a focus, then make a new character.

So..I'm replaying RH now, still the same main character and same server because of this update although a lot of the quests in the church area are bugged =/

But they look so boring that's the only reason I bought Roselle. Oh and just realized she wasn't at lvl 20 so I can still use them lol.

They're not bugged; quest description is simply wrong.

For example, the ~lv21 quest Dirty Thoughts says to go clear the Upper Sewage Treatment Plant, but it actually clears in the Atrium.

Reading mixed thoughts about Twin Blades, will likely go for it anyway on my Roselle.

Reading Glaive is like MS and I was hoping it'd be more like Scythe, and that you lose a few spam-worthy Angela skills. Ack ;0; So lost at what I currently want to do.


But really enjoyed the new Forest starting area, I almost wish I could re-make my Meilin to level through there (I think she goes there too?) but meh more money just for a 8-level experience. >:

Edit: and I'm sure most people's opinions would be "Do whatever you want", but I'm so OCD about characters waw.

I didn't spend too much time with it but.... the basic combo definitely is MS-like in the sense that there's noticeably less lag between hits compared to Scythe. I can't talk about focus stuff because I'm not focused, but some skills were still Scythe-y. Flame Wall still had you striking a spot with the weapon, for example.

James, I know about Flame Wall striking a spot for scythe, I have a Scythe Focus Angela p_q Plus, like Pie said, that's one of the skills poofing I mentioned.

Pie, that's exactly my apprehension for making a glaive. I'm reading it's more physical? And Scythe being the more AoE/Magic one and Sword being the support-y one (but I've also read MS can be OP if you can use it right but eh)

I'll probably end up going Dual on my Roselle no matter what but I'm hesitant to put the time into a Glaive now :l I like the way Angela holds it but if I'm potentially not going to enjoy it.

Then again, don't knock it until you try it?

You get Rising Smash and Glaive Charm as replacements.

Rising Smash = Frantz's Sword Upper with more range.

Glaive Charm breaks guard.

Low cooldowns.

Have fun with combos.

You also get MSword's Paper Cut and Blinding Beam and Scythe's Rust Tornado as AoEs. Hf with that.
