They added these special packs in the fashion shop that are very "beginner friendly"

The best of the packs have things like:

- Warp Shrapnels ( 7 day temporary warp crystals)
- Snow Raccoon Tickets (5)
- Kazno Stone (1)
- Damage Syrups (Crit damage, Item Drop Rate,Physical Damage) (5 of each)

But the highlight are two special potions.

- Advance Exp Potion (100% exp for 1 hour) (15 in a pack)
- Prime Potion (500% exp for 1 hour) (5 in a pack)

Note: You cannot stack Advance and Prime. It's one or the other. They stack with Iris's Blessing, and Peach Cans, although I'm unsure about XP Syrup.

All that for 214 astros.

It's not very easy to get a hold of those unless you have lots of astros to burn, but they're a limited time item in a very useful set that can be bought until the 16th. If someone had enough money, it would be a good time to build up a low level, but I'll be honest and say this really has very little impact on the higher level community if someone uses one or two. A high level would need to use MANY of them to be leveling at a rate where people should complain. I myself used enough for three levels and I stopped there. I just wanted to be able to wear my 172 speed shoes (deleveled) and I got to that point. The ely price for Prime Potions are mega inflated so it's not like everyone is using them either.

sorry for double post, but i have to say this.

I dont think TH is the right class for me X.x. Im kinda bored of it, and dont know which one to play. Ill get 600 astros at christmas and probably make another character. So if i ever play my TH again ill just lvl him for craft mule.

On the subject of Christmas. What's your guys' family tradition?

For my family, we usually get together with my 2 other families (my mom's 2 younger sisters' families) in one house and have a huuuuuge feast. Gotta love that asian food. And since we have 3 families in one house, the gifts just stack up around, and over the Christmas tree. We usually spend an hour or 2 finding out which one is for which person, and opening. After gift opening, we go bowling close to midnight.

I love Christmas, it's my absolute favorite time of the year~

I agree with Hiro. Christmas time is the best time of the year.

As for my family tradition, it's usually just my family opening presents on Christmas morning and then eating Thanksgiving-ish food. After that, I play video games. xD Not the most exciting thing ever, but I love it.

Usually me, my mom,dad, one of my systers and her husband and daughter have some kind of dinner at my uncle's house, along with his family.

Also, I think I may be coming back to play more often now. Gaining back interest little by little. It's just the lag factor that's killing me right now. So I can't ensure that I'll be on every single day. Probably just 3 to 4 times a week maybe. I have winter break starting this Thursday too. But it depends if I have time also, I have lots of big plans for this holiday season.

Hmm, I'm not sure what that error is for, but it reminds me of something that happened when 1ndex wasn't able to login to latale. Certain files in the game files were corrupted whenever he downloaded them so I helped him out and copied files from my game and sent them to him. (It takes a while because some of those files are kinda beefy) Not sure if that's what needs to be done, but food for thought maybe.

Hm, seeing the Holiday event updates doesn't inspire me to care about it. I hate when they have drop items because they drop so rarely. Stupid lame drop rate. But you can't even open these Christmas boxes without getting a key from the fashion shop? Dumb.

I don't know about the Muscling thing. Don't know that I really get it.

Kind of disappointed not to see mention of some new area being released. I'm bored with grinding all of the time. I want something new to do already. =|

I doubt they're going to surprise us and throw in labyrinth like when they threw in bongolle train when they only mentioned spooky village.

To be fair, you guys have content (even if it's tedious) till at least 130-150. I'm 170 and everything is grey for me.

The event map they are mentioning sounds a lot like the event from last year. We can only hope that they didn't change that.

Last Year:

- Event map where you race to the end, turn in a quest and get stockings (quest item, not wearable) .
- Stockings had food buffs, fireworks, but also, astro fashion like invisible glasses, earrings, and face decorations.
- If you did the quests a certain amount of times, you would get prizes like (cherry or grape potions, the idr santa title, or the exp santa title for 50 runs)

That was pretty much all we got aside from Rudolph pet, but it was good enough.

I don't know what direction they're trying to go this year.

The whole astro keys thing kind of bothers me. I'm sure the keys are going to cost like 3 astro as shells/easter eggs/ fortune cookies did. It might be a clone of those events to get people hooked.

I'm annoyed that they didn't mention labyrinth. I'm glad they're bringing us the time traveler patch in January (1 month, 5 days ) because that's going to be much more entertaining for much longer than a simple instance would be, but still. This is the only appropriate time of year for it to come out. Who knows, I'll keep my fingers crossed.

lv 100? I'm not entirely sure. They still need to add quests for it like how Spooky Village doesn't have quests.

If you look at the map in game, It shows where to go. Desert Field 5 has a portal that goes to the "Train Station". From there, you board the train. It is a moving set of maps that have different floors with decent spawn of monsters.

Note: The final portal drops you off outside Elias.

OGPlanet Forums: December 17th Update Details

^ It Appears the main attraction for the Box+key (aka, shells/fortune cookie) event is the Brownie Pet. I guess it's something extra for people that collect pets or wanted this one.

Personally, I would want it if there was some way to keep it in it's little animal form. I would like to have my Baby Panda back too, and I like this little Rabbit Pope thing. (It's got a hat on. Come on, you look at the Pope's hat and tell me that doesn't look like it was made for a rabbit.)

Okay, so the new patch is up. Like I expected, No Vintor..

But, the Xmas event from last year is back. I got a Guardian of Santa title on my TH, and 99 small cherry potions from doing the event runs.

They added a few prizes to the prize list from the stockings like a snowman fashion and some other one.

Okay, now for the key/box event. It's the same thing as shells or w/e.
