Getting a little pissed off at all the people who keep saying RIP MJ in they're MSN names and Stalkerbook(Facebook) pages etc. Apparently noone cares about Farrah fawcet one of the original Charlies Angels among other people she's played over her years of acting, who also died the same day... Two awesome people died in the same day but no one even bothers to honour the other one >.>

What pisses me off even more half the people who say these things made fun of him and laughed at him when he did certain things. One of my friends even said that he didn't like him at all, now on his MSN name "R.I.P MJ he was such an awesome guy I'm gonna miss him" I liked him before it was cool to have him in your MSN, facebook names etc.

Uh, to be honest, you've got to remember that Farah's already had various shows aired about her life and junk, in preparation for her death. This stuff with Michael... No one knew it was coming.


I mean, Im sad and all that Fawcett is gone too, but everyone knew she was down to her final moments, it was just a question of "When." MJ's death was totally out of the blue, and a major shock for everyone, so you've got to understand, of course MJ is major news right now.

Im not complaining about the media part of it, yea of course I know the media is gonna milk Micheals death but i'm mainly mad about the regular people who only seem to bandwagon death honours like its some new awesome skill in trickster.

You've gotta see that Michael Jackson made many huge shocks throughout the world. First off, his amazing singing talents as part of the Jackson 5. Then we've got his numerous hits and chart topping recordings. Next, there's his makeover and child molestation case.

Farrah, on the other hand, played one lady from the sexy trio of Charlie's Angels. Sure, it was big, but not as huge or world-shaking.

My mother is a big news lover..
When she heard the news Farrah died, it was a "ah, that's unfortunate, she must have died of the cancer she was fighting all her life"
Then when they said Micheal Jackson died, she was utterly speechless, and shocked afterwards.

Myself, I have no idea who Farrah is, or what she was famous for.
And I believe when it comes to the youth, this is the same situation. Everyone knows Micheal Jackson, regardless of age, ether it be in joke, or they've heard some of his songs, or on television.

Another thing is that Michael Jackson's success touched more lives than it did Farrah Fawcett's, in my opinion. He is an icon to many. Heck, he made the album that was the most successful in history. I don't think many people in this forum were born during Farrah Fawcett's performance in Charlie's Angels.

It doesn't help too when his death was rather unexpected.

Honestly I wasn't aware that she died. While playing a game lulzy people were making fun of MJ through world chat. So he made mistakes that was highly criticized. So there are priests out there who had sexual intercourse with young boys worldwide but they you don't see people stop going to church or whatever. It's just sad that a musical genius had to go while people are listening to (insert shitty rapper here).

I don't think it's that people don't care, but it's more of that they don't know who Farrah Fawcett was. You can't care for someone if you've never heard of them. Same argument can be made about Ed Mcmahon, so you care that Farrah passed away, but you don't care that Ed Mcmahon did? I don't think that's the case. I think it's a little insensitive that you'd get mad at people mourning over their idol/someone they cared for's death just because they didn't mourn YOUR idol/someone you cared for.
